Now seriously try to accuse once the new Abarth 500e of being too expensive. But you have to be fair enough to compare it with the 87 kW (118 hp) Fiat 500e for a mere € 35,000.
1.

First of all, the comparison of the respective convertible surcharge, which is the same in both cases at € 3,000. Whereby the designation 'electrically operated roll roof' would come much closer to the thing.
1.

So that leaves another €3,000 as the difference from the Abarth. Of course, one would now have to say that the changes inside and outside are very limited, the other colors are more likely to draw attention.
1.

The front spoiler and the inserted area above it, which is hardly shaped differently, are also more obvious. And the Abarth logo is a bit more impressive, while the lettering is more a step backwards to the graphics of the Fiat.
In general, the name pretends to be sporty, which could end up being a bit disappointing for the buyer of the car. Yes, there are 37 kW (approx. 27 hp) more available.
But what if the engine takes a small second to commemorate the demand for acceleration and stop at the latest at 160 km/h speedo? What do you get from such performance data?
The much scolded employees who programmed the sound generator . . .

No, more battery capacity has not been added and the different motor power does not explain the € 3,000 for an electric drive. But there we come across the alloy wheels, which are standard in contrast to the Fiat. There is
also a different steering wheel, dashboard, seat design and a slightly modified rear diffuser.
The cruise control should be adaptive in this price range. |
If it really had to be a cuddly Fiat 500e and you were willing to put a little more money into it than just the base price, then we would spend the € 37,000 on the three-door (3+1).
