Abarth can collect points only out of its racing history. So they added not only 22 kW (30 hp) to the engine of the Fiat 124 Spider, but gave it also the matt black hoods of the former version of the 124 Spider. Abarth is existing since 1949 and was revived 2007/2008. It is proud to make from normal cars 'something extraordinary'.

The interior was fitted with additionally adjustable leather seats, however to be ordered in the Fiat version, too. The tachometer (pictured below) is to see with tender red. The demanded 40,000 euros are 16,000 more than you have to pay for the basic version of the Spider. But is it now able to accelerate in 6.2 seconds to 100 km/h, contains limited slip differential, black alloy wheels, Brembo brakes, a corresponding Bilstein suspension and a special two-stage exhaust system with corresponding sound (last video).

Here you can see the rally version of the Abarth 124. Although, in principle, freely available, but will cost 150,000 euros and only 30 units will be manufactured. The engine is turbo charged and develops about 221 kW (300 hp) with 1.8 liters displacement. 05/16
