Particularly well known among the electric vehicles, the Segway. It can be used indoors, but now also on public roads.

Weight shifting forward/backward puts it in motion or slows it down. The handlebar can be moved for steering to the side. Turn is possible on the spot.

The vehicle is never faster than 20 km/h and has with lithium-ion batteries nearly 40 km operating range. Charging the battery can still take up to 10 hours.
