Cylinder (loop scavenging)

 

   



The port best visible above going into the cylinder on top with a smaller cross section, increasing in cross section towards the outside, is the exhaust outlet port. Below it behind the exhaust slit and to the right in the case both by-pass ports are visible. They connect the crankcase with the cylinder space. The port below is the intake port. It comes from the back on the right where a screw of its flange is still visible. All together a typical example of the loop scavenging. 06/08
