Except for the size there are more differences between the clutch disc of a passenger car and a utility vehicle. The utility vehicle has a bigger ratio of friction surface to total area. It becomes very obvious that very high torques must be transferred. Also the coating seems to be run through by more stabilising threads. The rather crude inner tooth system to the gearbox input shaft fits in, too.

There are hardly any dual mass flywheels for trucks. This shows because of the still necessary torsion springs. 05/08
