Brake caliper
The picture provides an answer to the question how an electrical engine manages to press the brake pads against the brake disc. The armature of the electrical engine provides the rotating motions for the necessary
pressure on the brake pads. Obviously, this has to work as fast as with the hydraulic brake. The brake pliers look lighter than in the past. The future will show whether this type of brake can be used for sportive cars, too.
