  Front-wheel Drive (classic)

The front wheel drive shown in the picture is classical because of its mixture preparation with the help of a carburetor with coolant - induction pipe heating, and the distributor ignition. Interesting is a view into the induction pipe and the thermostat housing on the left side. The coolant pump is partly blocked by the dipstick on the right side, but you can see the drive and the connections very well.
Still current is however the situation of the transmission on the left and the axle drive in the center/front. Only the number of the gears and the power transmission of the gearshift levers changed.
