Only at first glance is the above a picture of a caravan. What, otherwise, would be the point of the double ramp?, and then the relatively spartan interior fittings. There is no permanently installed table. Indeed, you have surely guessed that there is a good reason for the larger free floor space.

No doubt about it, we are a society which does have a relatively large amount of spare time, particularly if we compare ourselves to former generations. We need more money, which, on the other hand, has to be saved, e.g., by paying camping site fees instead of hotel accounts.

There is hardly any hobby, where some sort of equipment is not needed, whether it's mountain-bikes, veteran cars or wind powered buggys. All these things need to be stowed away or transported, at least during the trip to your destination and they should be relatively safe from vandalism or theft.

This is exactly the point where this trailer comes into play. One can even imagine a car inside, it doesn't have to necessarily, be a classic-RR (unless it's a very big trailer). Once on the camping site, it's taken out of it's “garage” and can be parked next to the trailer covered with a tarpaulin. Thus, car out, people in. Look at the side view. Can you see the matresses hanging on the doors and over the wheel housings?

Of course, the luxury of a bath and a toilet are not possible if the trailer is to be kept inside a tolerable towing weight limit. Indeed, one is protected from rain and can indulge in one's hobby. 01/12
