There is hardly an easier way to implement an all-wheel drive. A visco-clutch at the transmission output and the already present - in case of the standard drive - power distribution elements to the rear axle, are sufficient.
The visco-clutch makes it happen. It is compensation and lock in one piece, operating in spite of the original gearbox of the front drive with longitudinal engine. The beforehand non-driven axle receives the gear ratio of the driven axle.
